Hostaan Sitebuilder can be opened through Plesk dashboard. The sitebuilding tool works for all the most common web browsers. Using he Sitebuilder doesn't require any special coding skills.
Start by logging in to your Plesk dashboard (If you have multiple webhotels to your account, you can switch between them via 'Subscriptions' -menu). Then choose
'Websites and Domains' -> 'Sitebuilder':
When Sitebuilder opens up, you'll see template selection, where you'll be able to choose a template of your liking
Changing the language can be done from the dropdown menu at the upper right corner of this page.
Templates may be filtered according to topics found at the left side of the page. You can preview the template by hovering your mouse over a template and choosing 'Preview'. Don't worry, if you didn't find a template at once, you'll be able to modify the template virtually endlessly.
Editor view is composed of a menu at the upper part of the page, that has two sets of rows, and a siteview that is situated below. Editing the page is done as follows:
- Double clicking the text you wish to edit (or by clicking the 'Edit Text') allows you to modify the text.
- Changing the images is done by clicking the image you wish to change and choosing 'Change Picture' or from the Pen Icon at the panel to the right.
- Changing the background and videos is done as changing the images,
by ckicking the desired element and choosing the Pen Icon at the panel to the right. - Next, you can add or choose media from the window that opens.
- You can change pages from the 'Home' dropdown menu. As you change the page you are viewing, Sitebuilder asks you to confirm the changes made at the current page.
- From the same menu you'll be able to add new pages and edit the names and order of existing pages by clicking 'Edit'.
When you're happy with the outcome of editing your site, click
'Publish' at the top right corner of the editor and your site will be published to your Web Hosting site.
Congratulations! You just have built your first website using Sitebuilder!
