Plesk Control Panel - Navigation
After logging into the control panel with your Plesk credentials, you will see a management view front page similar to the one shown. If you have ordered multiple web hosting packages under the same Plesk account (same customer account), you can switch between these subscriptions from the 'Subscription' dropdown menu in the upper right corner.
After selecting a possible web hosting package, you can perform administrative tasks by selecting the desired management area from the main menu on the left:
  • Websites & Domains - from here you can manage your web hosting disk space and domain settings, such as changing your FTP password, viewing your web hosting settings, password-protecting directories, etc.
  • Mail - from this menu you create email accounts and change their settings
  • Applications - through this menu you can install e.g. WordPress or an e-commerce application to your website space with a couple of mouse clicks
  • Files - through this section you can transfer website files to your disk space (if you don't want to use a separate FTP program)
  • Databases - from this menu you manage MySQL databases (requires database support)
  • Statistics - this section opens web hosting-specific statistics (including disk space and traffic consumption)
  • Account - through this menu you manage your Plesk account and your own backups
  • WordPress - menu offers tools for managing and updating WordPress installation (if you have a WordPress package)
You can find more detailed instructions for performing various administrative tasks in this guide behind the specific questions.
When the necessary administrative tasks have been completed, you must also remember to log out of the Plesk control panel. This is done through the 'Logged in as' menu in the upper right corner.
