By default, our customers are provided with one Plesk administrator account, with which the customer can manage all features of their web hosting through the control panel. The same account is also provided to the technical contact person if you have selected one in your order. However, if desired, you can restrict other stakeholders' (for example, website designer) access to the control panel by creating a separate user account for them.

After logging into the control panel, select 'Users' and the page shows at least one user account, which is your administrator account. You can recognize this from the 'owner' marking in the role column. There may also be other user accounts ready on the page (often when creating an email mailbox, a user account with the same name is also created). However, let's create a new user account for the website designer in this example by pressing 'Create User Account':

Next, you can enter the user account information. Fill in 'Contact name' and enter an existing email address (e.g., @gmail) in the 'External email address field':

Remember to change 'User role' from the dropdown menu to 'WebMaster' (by default, the user role is 'Application User', which is used for all email users). This is important so that we can give the created user sufficient rights to use the service without sharing rights with all email users.
If your customer account includes multiple web hostings, you can also limit this user account's rights to them in 'Access to subscriptions'. By default, 'All' is selected, but if desired, you can also limit the right to only one web hosting service by selecting it from the dropdown menu.
By default, the username is the same as the email address, and this is pre-filled in the field reserved for it. Enter a password in the two fields reserved for it and click 'OK' and the user is created (or click "Create" and "Show" to create a randomly generated password)
You can next define the rights for the selected user level by selecting from the tab 'User Roles' and clicking the user role of the same name 'WebMaster':

On the page that opens, you can restrict the rights of the selected user role as you wish, for example according to the image below, where the WebMaster user has been granted the right to create and manage sites (website space settings), scheduled tasks (Cron), databases, applications, and DNS settings.

After implementing the desired rights, finally press 'OK' and after this the user role's access is restricted.
You can now provide the created username and password to your website designer, allowing them to access your website information in the control panel, but not, for example, your email account settings.
